Elaine is an integrative counsellor, with training in the person centred approach and somatic trauma therapies. She has received a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Strathclyde University and is a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and works within their ethical framework. She also holds a PDA in Alcohol and Addiction Counselling and a Diploma in Training & Development. She is also a COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland) Accredited Trainer on the COSCA course that runs annually at Mind Mosaic. Elaine has completed numerous trauma courses and workshops delivered by experts from across the world to bring the very latest in somatic trauma work to Inverclyde.

MindMosaic Counselling & Therapy
With a Master’s degree in Counselling and psychotherapy, Gwyneth has been practicing as a therapist in both the NHS and private practice for 20 years. She is a person centred counsellor, supervisor and trainer who holds accreditation with COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland). Her clinical background, both as a therapist and manager within NHS sexual health services, spanned a total of 33 years. She left the NHS in 2012 to devote time and attention to the development of Counselling within the third sector, going on to develop MindMosaic to provide therapeutic services in Inverclyde.

With background in community education and an Open University Honours degree in Psychology, Theresa qualified as counsellor through a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Strathclyde in 2014. Bringing 20 years’ experience as an Operations manager in a local third sector organisation she joined Mind Mosaic in 2019. She is a member of COSCA and a trauma informed practitioner.
Admin & Finance Lead
Evelyn started working with us in September 2020 and brought with her many years’ experience in finance, management and customer service delivery.
Since starting work with MindMosaic, Evelyn has completed training on Mental Health Awareness, Understanding Perinatal Mood Disorder, Trauma Informed and Protecting Vulnerable Groups.
Evelyn’s role within MindMosaic involves managing the finance processes and supporting the Administration Team to deliver a first class service to MindMosaic’s clients and Counsellors.
Laura joined us at MindMosaic in December 2019. She has worked in the customer service industry for 6+ years. Laura studied HND in visual communication and Graphic Design and is currently studying an NQ in Business, administration and digital skills.
During her time at MindMosaic she has completed online training sessions in call handling, trauma and understanding perinatal mood disorders.
You will see Laura's smiling face if you come into the office as she is first point of contact.
B.Sc Health Studies, RMN, Accredited Sensorimotor Psychotherapist
Geraldine initially qualified as a psychiatric nurse and also trained as a counsellor in the person centred approach. She worked in the NHS for 35 years in both hospital and community settings, latterly working for NHS Tayside as a senior psychotherapist. Geraldine began to specialise in working in trauma from the late 90’s and has completed trainings and workshops in the treatment of trauma. She qualified as a sensorimotor psychotherapist [a body based therapy] in 2011. Retiring from the NHS in 2018 she joined MindMosaic in October of 2020 .

Group Development Worker
Susan joined the MindMosaic team in November 2020. Susan is passionate about the need for accessible trauma support for individuals and the local community. Following many years working in addictions, mental health and domestic abuse recovery, Susan’s role at MindMosaic is in facilitating Trauma Resource, Perinatal and Peer Support groups in order to promote positive mental health and wellbeing within Inverclyde.
