At MindMosaic, we believe in the power of counselling to create lasting change - helping individuals and families regain control of their lives, encouraging personal growth, strengthening relationships, and putting lives back on track.
From our main base in Greenock, we are delighted to offer online counselling across Scotland.
Here’s what some of our existing clients think:
“I feel the impact of my counselling has had a massive positive effect on my life and I'm very grateful for the input I have had so thank you very much and thank you so much to my counsellor Jackie.”
“I highly recommend this service to everyone I know and speak with as I highly appreciate what this service has done for me. It has helped me more than I can explain. I greatly appreciate what my counselor has helped me achieve.”
“I have noticed a genuine shift in my mental health and a curiosity towards continuing therapy in the future and others have noticed the shift too. I'd like to thank Nicola again for working with me over the 16 sessions.”

‘Psychotherapy’ is an umbrella term referring to talking-based therapies. Expressing your feelings to a counsellor can help you gain clarity and see things from different perspectives, facilitating positive change. Counsellors are highly trained individuals who have completed extensive training. They can also offer practical support for overcoming challenges.
The therapies we offer include:
Person-Centred Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Psychodynamic Therapy
Integrative Therapy
Trauma Therapy

We offer a supportive environment to explore your relationships, how the relationship may have changed and what steps are needed to move forward.
Relationship counselling is offered on a private basis – £60 per session – with 8-10 sessions typically recommended.

Our survivor services journey offers a supportive journey, specialising in guiding individuals through their journey of healing with a structured, three-stage approach. With a background in trauma recovery, mental health support, and community-based resources. We provide a safe and empathetic space for survivors to reclaim their sense of self and find resilience.
The first stage, Safety and Stabilisation, focuses on creating a supportive foundation.
The second stage, Processing and Understanding, empowers survivors to work through their trauma-related memories and feelings.
The third stage, Reconnection and Growth, encourages survivors to envision a future beyond trauma.
Paradigm shift from “What’s wrong with me” to “What happened to me”

For those who have experienced trauma, the after-effects can be distressing, with traumatic memories sometimes resurfacing months or even years later. We offer a wide range of interventions tailored to individual needs.
Trauma therapy often involves techniques that calm the central nervous system alongside more conventional talking therapies. This approach is known as ‘somatic psychotherapy’.
Somatic psychotherapy recognises that trauma is stored in our subconscious, with traumatic memories often resurfacing as physical sensations. Therapy may focus on these bodily experiences to improve daily functioning without revisiting the traumatic experience itself. Alternatively, a combination of body-based and cognitive therapies may be used to fully process past experiences.

We support individuals through the unique challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and the first two years of parenthood.
This period can present feelings of isolation and helplessness, dissociation due to unprocessed birth trauma, and disconnection from yourself, your partner, or your baby. We offer counselling and therapy services to couples concurrently, or to mums and dads on an individual basis, to help address these issues.
-
Mindfulness involves being fully present in the moment, helping you live life to the fullest. Participants in our mindfulness courses report feeling less stressed, more relaxed, and more resilient to life’s changes.
We offer a range of mindfulness courses, from the 6-week Introductory Course to the Mindfulness Association's Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC). Additionally, we provide taster sessions, drop-ins, short courses, and bespoke courses tailored to your needs.
