Counselling and therapy for individuals and families across Scotland.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, big life changes, or the impact of past trauma, we're here to help. Our team of qualified, experienced counsellors will work with you to understand what you're going through and find a way forward.
Sessions take place at our Greenock office, online, or in community venues across Inverclyde - whatever works best for you. We'll aim to match you with the same counsellor throughout, so you can build a relationship based on trust.
Most people come for a regular session each week over several weeks, with the length of support tailored to what you need.

‘Psychotherapy’ is an umbrella term referring to talking-based therapies. Expressing your feelings to a counsellor can help you gain clarity and see things from different perspectives, helping you achieve positive change. Counsellors are highly trained individuals who have completed extensive training. They can also offer practical support for overcoming challenges.
The therapies we offer include:
Person-Centred Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Our survivor services are here to support you, every step of the way.
We work with people who've been through some of the hardest experiences life can throw at you. Our counsellors specialise in trauma recovery and we'll go at your pace, in a space where you won't be judged.
We use a three-stage approach, so you always know where you are in your journey.
Stage 1: Safety and Stabilisation We start by making sure you feel safe and supported. There's no rush. We focus on building the foundations you need before anything else.
Stage 2: Processing and Understanding When you're ready, we'll help you work through your experiences - your memories, your feelings, and what they mean for you today.
Stage 3: Reconnection and Growth The final stage is about you and your future. Who you want to be, and what life can look like beyond what you've been through.
We believe the most important shift in recovery is moving from asking "what's wrong with me?" to understanding "what happened to me?" - and we're here to help you make that shift.
Paradigm shift from “What’s wrong with me” to “What happened to me”

Trauma doesn't always show up the way you'd expect.
Sometimes it surfaces months or even years after something happened - as flashbacks, physical sensations, or feelings that seem to come from nowhere. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone and we can help.
We offer a range of approaches tailored to what you need, including therapies that work with both mind and body.
What is somatic psychotherapy?
Trauma isn't just stored in our thoughts - it can live in our bodies too. Somatic psychotherapy works with those physical sensations, helping you feel calmer and more in control day to day, without necessarily having to revisit what happened in detail.
Depending on what's right for you, we might use body-based techniques on their own, traditional talking therapy, or a combination of both - working through the physical and cognitive sides of your experience together. Your counsellor will work with you to find the best approach.

Becoming a parent is life-changing. And not always in the ways you expected.
Pregnancy, birth, and the early years can bring feelings of isolation, overwhelm, or disconnection - from yourself, your partner, or your baby. For some people, a difficult birth experience can leave lasting effects that are hard to make sense of on your own.
We support individuals and couples through all of this - from pregnancy right through to your child's second birthday. Whether you'd like to come together as a couple or talk things through on your own, we're here to help.
